This is FreePraiseAndWorship - worship music for the new paradigm.
OUR MISSION
The purpose of freepraiseandworship.org is to serve the worship leaders, songwriters, musicians, technicians and sound engineers that serve the body of Christ. Our goal is to be a powerful resource for worship ministries, utilizing technology to help worship teams become more effective. We have three main areas of focus.
1. We want to give worship leaders tools they can use to effectively lead their team and the congregation. That's why we are providing freely usable songs. The idea is that the worship leader can get:
- Their song
list or set
- Chord Charts
- Lyric sheets for singers and overheads
- Real Audio demo versions of the songs
- Midi versions of the songs

2. We want
to give songwriters a way to share their gifts from God, using the
world wide web as a tool to distribute their gifts to the church.

The Praise and Worship service isn't a commercial (for profit) activity. It is, rather a heartfelt expression of love for God.
We do believe in the use copyrights and CCLI licensing and that authors ought to be compensated for the use of their songs when the songs are used to make money.
We provide a place where songwriters can share their songs and also gain exposure.
Our philosphy
requires cooperation between songwriters, worship leaders and congregations.
We believe that it's biblical, "Let the word of the Christ dwell in
you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another, in psalms,
hymns, spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God."-
Colossians 3:16
3.We want to provide a network that will allow ministry teams access to the best training, equipment and instruments available. Great things can be done when God's people unite. Within the greater body of Christ there is a tremendous wealth of knowledge and expertise. As followers after Christ we are uniquely equipped to network as we live out the truth that it is more blessed to give than to receive.
In all these things, the thread that ties them together is our love for God, our desire to praise Him and help others do so also.
