Fill my Life with Praise

Fill my life, O my God,
in ev'ry part with praise,
so that my whole being proclaims
your nature and your way.

May my praise be much more,
than feelings and words alone,
may my life now be made up
of praise in ev'ry part.

Praise in the common things of life,
I ask,
praise in each action,
seen or unseen.

May each word, be of praise,
in each look, action, each phrase,
and in family or business,
may I reflect your praise.

Fill me, Lord, with your praise,
may my whole being speak
of your greatness and your love, Lord,
though I am poor and weak.

Then receive from me Lord,
the praise and the glory due,
so shall I begin to sing now,
the song that's ever new.

So shall no part of day or night be free
from praise to you Lord,
and your presence be.

Fill my life, O my Lord,
in ev'ry part with praise,
so that my whole being proclaims,
your wonder and your ways.
