"Be still," He says, "and know I am your God,
take time to think about My love for you
let rush and stress go from out of your mind
that you and I may walk this day in step."
"Be still," He says, "and know I am your God
then you will know My love, My care and peace." (repeat)

Let thought of Him not soon be pushed away.
Remember well He promised to be near me.
So keep in step, enjoy His blessedness.

to me, and so to you. Think much on Him
and find Him far beyond all human thought
but not beyond your faith and love and hope.
